Borst, Julia  & Juliane Tauchnitz (Hrsg.). 2017. Migratory Movements and Diasporic Positionings in Contemporary Hispano- and Catalan-African Literatures. Special Issue, Research in African Literatures 28.3.

This special issue of Research in African Literatures focuses on the representation of contemporary migratory movements, diasporic constructions and transcultural subject positions in Hispano-and Catalano-African literatures. The essays and academic articles discuss ‘movements’ in diverse constellations and on different levels (real and/or imaginary) and explore the ambivalent and contradictory positionings of the diasporic subject that oscillates between Europe and Africa continuously re-locating itself in-between cultures.
